CHALLENGE
TranslateLive faced challenges scaling real-time language access due to
supply chain constraints and managing multiple device models across
verticals. Standardizing on a single enterprise-grade device and adding a
customized case to differentiate tablets used with the ILA was critical to
streamline operations, ensure consistency, and simplify support.
SOLUTION
To solve these challenges, TranslateLive and Rhino Mobility developed the
ILA Language Translator, a dual-screen translation system using two RHINO T80 tablets, delivering a secure, enterprise-ready platform designed specifically for in-person communication.
Dual-Screen Setup
Two RHINO T80 tablets are mounted back-to-back in a custom-built hinged enclosure, enabling face-to-face communication with text, voice, and sign language translation.
Enterprise-Grade Solution
The RHINO T80 is built for large-scale deployments, with Android Enterprise support, minimum 3-year availability, and remote management through seamless OTA update.
Carrier-Unlocked Flexibility
The RHINO T80 is a carrier-unlocked device, allowing TranslateLive to
implement a multicarrier SIM approach. This flexibility enhanced coverage, simplified logistics, and supported scalable deployment across
diverse environments in the U.S.
